This is an absolute Morning Cleanse Drink
Cleanse drink? You can read a lot about juicing, apple cider vinegar (ACV) or other healthy cleanser. Did I try all of them? Yes! I am not a fan of juiced grass and I like apple cider vinegar in my salad but not as drink in the morning. I found my magic drunk a few month ago when I started doing this:
Kick-Start Water
Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/4 Tsp. Ginger grated
- 1/8 Tsp. Cayenne Pepper
- 1/8 Tsp. Ground Turmeric
- 1 Glass of warm water (8oz)
Combine all and drink it immediately!
It helps you clean your body with the detoxifying ingredients and it is a kick-start in the morning. Your metabolism will get a quick start for fat burning in the morning and you will feel good. It will warm your body and activate all your senses.
Turmeric
This bright yellow spice is a great anti-inflammatory and increases the antioxidants in your body.
Cayenne Pepper
Helps the digestion and is a good metabolism booster. Eating a bit spicy food will help your body burn calories.
Ginger
Is also a great anti-inflammatory and antioxidant. It helps against morning nausea and is a great vitamin boost. I like to use the fresh grated ginger but if I am in a hurry I use the ready grated ginger you can buy in jars from the produce aisle.
Lemon
Those yellow wonder fruits are always available in my house. They are so versatile and also so healthy. With their ability to help loosing weight it is my go to morning support. With the high amount of vitamin C it helps to boost your health and prevents colds and fever. I add a slice of lemon in my water during the day to have as much boost I can get.
